A while ago everyone harped on about strawberries and balsamic vinegar. M&S even advertise that on their bottles of ‘balsamic glaze’. I took it to the next level when I went nuts over marinading chicken the other week. Mangoes were going cheap in Brixton market – 3 for £1 at good old Nour Cash & Carry. Had to use them up and they happened to go perfectly with the savoury chicken and the balsamic side salad. Errr brainwave.
I’m such a fucking maverick sometimes.
